The project seeks a vendor to implement a secure, scalable, and cloud-based legal matter management system (LMMS) specifically designed to meet the requirements of public-sector legal services. The goal is to modernize the current legal technology infrastructure, leveraging intelligent automation to streamline business processes, reduce manual data entry, and ensure data quality through validations and tailored, role-aware workflows.

The LMMS solution should advance financial accuracy, workload transparency, and enhance both litigation support and case management capabilities. Integration with resource information systems is expected to improve transparency in financial and HR matters, as well as reliability and automation in pre-billing and billing. The system must empower external engagement, streamline intake functions, and provide efficient search and knowledge retrieval. Emphasis on embedded guidance, intuitive workflows, and minimal complexity is crucial to promote rapid user onboarding and to lower dependency on external support.
