Alberta is seeking a qualified vendor to provide and implement a cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS). The selected LMS should be an out-of-the-box solution that requires minimal custom development or configuration and must feature a responsive user interface accessible via desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, including iOS and Android platforms. The chosen system should fulfill specific functional, cultural, and technical requirements identified by Alberta.
The LMS must allow for seamless integration with existing systems such as Campus Nexus and Anthology CRM. A secure, cloud-based, and accessible solution is required, with full support for multilingual text and features that promote culturally responsive and universally accessible learning experiences. Implementation will include configuration, testing, and the launch of the LMS with initial courses and user groups.
Additionally, the vendor is expected to provide comprehensive training, documentation, and change management support for faculty, students, and administrators. Ongoing support will involve established service levels and robust data protection protocols. The resulting contract will be for a period of five years.
