The State of Washington is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-based Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The desired system should facilitate the entry and management of sample batches for a variety of sample types, enabling the creation of batches with unique parameters. Additionally, the solution must support barcode printing with customizable, definable information for effective sample tracking.
Key functionalities include electronic approval capabilities at the full batch level, the ability for system administrators to configure screens, dashboards, and report layouts—including custom and calculated fields—as well as the assignment of analysis protocols per batch. System administrators should be able to define user access groups with specific permissions to ensure controlled data access. The application must support Single Sign-On (SSO) integration and be capable of migrating data from the existing LIMS to the new platform.
