SUMMARY

Seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-based integrated library system to replace legacy systems, including migration, management, and discovery features for print and electronic collections over a five-year contract.

DESCRIPTION

The Library is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a cloud-based integrated library system to replace its existing legacy systems. The desired solution should combine a robust Library Services Platform with a Discovery Service to effectively manage and showcase both print and electronic collections. This platform must support essential library functions including cataloging, acquisitions, circulation, electronic resources management, user management, analytics, system administration, search, and discovery, all in alignment with the Library’s mission to deliver comprehensive traditional and digital library services for research support.

The selected system must offer features such as the ability to create, edit, and import bibliographic records, support granular searching of bibliographic and authority records, and provide access to global shared authority files without manual synchronization. Additionally, it must allow for the creation and management of local authority files for subjects and names, support multiple patron types with customizable circulation parameters, and facilitate the generation of customized, automated email notifications, including overdue notices. The vendor will also be responsible for the complete and accurate migration of all necessary data from the Library’s current system to the new platform. The contract associated with this project will span five years.
