The University is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-based identity and access management (IAM) modernization solution. This initiative aims to transition from the current identity management platform and single sign-on (SSO) system to a unified, cloud-hosted platform that offers enhanced identity management and access control capabilities.
The solution must include a core directory of identities, support for identity management rule management and workflow functionality, and deliver a modern user experience for single sign-on. The deployment will be planned and executed in phases, focusing on necessary capabilities, integrations, and operational environments. Initial capabilities will include production deployment, operational readiness for core user groups and integrations, and a flexible multi-factor authentication system supporting various authenticator providers.
Ongoing responsibilities will cover maintaining and upgrading the cloud-hosted operating environment, software, and secure data storage. After initial deployment, continuous enhancements and additional system integrations will be implemented throughout the five-year contract period.
