Key features should offer a unified map interface that integrates with existing GIS platforms to allow users to view work orders pertaining to roads, buildings, and sewer lines collectively.
The system must provide a public-facing interface enabling residents to report issues such as potholes and downed trees, facilitating community engagement. Real-time tracking for parts and materials per work order is required, along with management dashboards for monitoring response times, backlogs, and associated costs. The platform should fully support field crews, allowing them to attach photos, document notes, and close orders remotely via tablets or mobile devices. Additional functionality should include support for preventative maintenance scheduling and the ability to generate capital forecasts. A dedicated customer service solution must be available to ensure responsive and continuous support.
