Cloud-Based Flight Information Display System

A Texas airport is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a cloud-based flight information display system (FIDS), including gate information display system (GIDS), baggage information display system (BIDS), and an upgrade to the terminal public address (PA) system. The project encompasses the design, upgrade, integration, and installation of these systems to ensure streamlined and accurate distribution of flight, gate, and baggage information throughout the airport.

The vendor is expected to offer design tools with customizable templates for screen layouts on flat panels and video monitors. The solution must support real-time data interfaces to generate and deliver current flight information to the airport's existing website. Additionally, the system should include integrated monitoring features to track hardware, software applications, and database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.

User interface requirements call for compliance with Windows and web GUI standards, and the system should support visual paging that is readily accessible from client workstations. Appropriate airline user accounts must be established, permitting individual airlines to update their own flight information without access to others’ data. The contract will span one year, with a mandatory pre-bid meeting and a defined deadline for bidder questions.
