An organization in California is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive, cloud-based Employee Health System (EHS) to support approximately 5,000 employees, including historical records for Fire workforce members. The solution should function as a Software as a Service (SaaS) offering for EHS management, facilitating the maintenance of employee health records, medical surveillance, and compliance with EHS programs and policies.
The desired system must accommodate multiple job categories and work locations for each workforce member and include detailed job duties. Key requirements include the management of medical surveillance programs, such as immunizations and seasonal flu, with integrated compliance and national healthcare safety network reporting. The system should offer templates and autofill features for reporting, provide visual alert notifications for medical surveillance incidents, and support injury and exposure tracking.
Additional features should include detailed tuberculosis status reporting, support for multiple operating environments (development, test, training, production), and robust access controls that display information based on user roles and program affiliations. The system must allow the definition of user roles and groups, and enforce automatic session timeouts after configurable periods of inactivity.
