The agency seeks a vendor to implement a comprehensive cloud-based Electronic Health Records (EHR) system delivered as Software as a Service (SaaS). The chosen solution must support the needs and business practices of various agencies, meeting stringent security and reporting requirements.
Required system features include real-time updates for both outpatient and inpatient medical records, robust records management for secure storage, retrieval, auditing, and reporting, and seamless integration with Azure Active Directory Federation Services supporting multifactor authentication. The platform must provide authorized users the ability to view, create, update, manage, and electronically sign patient health records, with a mobile-friendly interface offering full functionality for supported devices.
Additional capabilities involve electronic receipt of medication data from pharmacies for new and refill orders, as well as enabling creation and sharing of treatment plans with external dental providers.
