DESCRIPTION
A cloud-based permitting and permitting management system is sought to support the operations of the building department, planning board, and conservation commission. The solution should modernize permitting workflows, improve access for the public, facilitate interdepartmental coordination, and allow transparent tracking of applications, inspections, and approvals.
The platform must be fully hosted (SaaS) and cloud-based, offering role-based permissions for staff, inspectors, board members, and applicants. Key features include a mobile-friendly interface for field users, robust document management and file upload capabilities, integration with online payment processing (credit card/ACH), and automated notifications via email or SMS. Optional integration with financial and accounting systems is also desired.
The contract period will be two years.
