DESCRIPTION

The project seeks a vendor to provide a cloud-based digital evidence management system designed to address increasing storage needs and facilitate the secure handling of digital evidence. The system must be capable of storing all current file data and support the receiving and distribution of digital evidence with external users.

A comprehensive plan is required for integrating existing evidence onto the cloud and for migrating all evidence data off the platform if the contractual relationship concludes. The solution should include granular control over user permissions and roles, and have the ability to interface with existing case management and other relevant software solutions during the contract period.

Additionally, the system must offer tools for processing, editing, redaction, and analysis of digital evidence, robust backup and recovery protocols for deleted files, and redundancy measures. Vendors should provide technical documentation on system specifications, minimum network requirements for end users, and the method for data transfer. Qualifications of personnel responsible for implementation and servicing will also need to be documented.
