DESCRIPTION

This RFI invites vendors to provide a cloud-based software solution for continuing education, competency assessment, and regulatory compliance within a healthcare setting. The platform must offer robust document control, continuing education management, and competency assessment features tailored for laboratory professionals operating within an integrated health care system.

The software should function as a SaaS application, be accessible from any computer around the clock, and incorporate redundant server capabilities to ensure continuous access to documents. Security is a priority; the system is required to use encryption and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocols for securing documents, passwords, and personal information. Additionally, the solution must encrypt data in motion via HTTPS/SSL and data at rest with FIPS 140-2 compliant methods such as AES 256. A server backup and contingency plan must be provided to maintain document accessibility during both planned and unplanned outages.

The system must allow for different levels of access across multiple sites, adapting to each site's unique requirements. The initial contract period is one year, and this opportunity is set aside exclusively for small businesses.
