Cloud-Based Computer Assisted Dispatch System

A Canadian organization in Ontario is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-based Computer Assisted Dispatch (CAD) system along with related services. The project includes the implementation of a CAD system featuring event creation and dispatching, interactive call-taking scripts, real-time workforce tracking, live GIS asset mapping, call and response analytics, call routing queues, and seamless interfacing with video and access control systems, GPS vehicle tracking, and a communications interface with Bell AVTech phone console, P25, and Mototrbo radios.

The chosen CAD system will serve as a critical component of the organization's IT infrastructure, supporting 24/7 operational oversight to coordinate multi-agency responses to operational, safety, and emergency events. The vendor should provide detailed information on a typical installation and integration timeline, supported by prior client experience, and propose a suite of modular software that can be incrementally implemented and expanded.

The system needs to integrate internal teams and external partners to enable unified decision-making and immediate dispatching of emergency resources. Solutions may be cloud-based, on-premise, or hybrid, and could be web-based or utilize client-server architecture. The initial implementation is planned for 8 desks, with the potential to expand to 14 desks.
