The selected vendor will provide a comprehensive, cloud-based platform for citywide digital accessibility compliance, including related professional services. The proposed solution must encompass both continuous web accessibility monitoring and document accessibility review and remediation as core features. Requirements include automated accessibility scanning, support for manual testing, PDF and document accessibility services, reporting and dashboard functionalities, and tools for identifying broken links, spelling, and content quality issues.
Additionally, the platform must offer guidance and resources for ensuring accessibility in document authoring tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, including accessible templates and design resources. The scope of work also involves third-party platform evaluation and support, development of digital accessibility governance and policy, as well as training and capacity building for staff. Vendors must address all implementation, support, service level, security, and technical requirements. The contract is set for a one-year period.
