The State of California is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-based bed tracking support system designed to enhance real-time visibility and management of inpatient and crisis stabilization bed availability. This solution should be offered through a subscription-based model and must include comprehensive implementation services such as system configuration, onboarding, and seamless integration of data from electronic health records (EHRs) using industry-standard protocols.
Key system requirements include a user-friendly dashboard with features for filtering, sorting, and geographic visualization, offering continuous, near real-time updates on bed status. The system must categorize bed availability by level of care, such as psychiatric inpatient or crisis residential, to support effective allocation and tracking.
The platform should also facilitate remote governance by incorporating scheduling tools and integrated video conferencing capabilities. Compliance with state and federal data privacy and security standards, including HIPAA, is mandatory. The anticipated contract duration is three years.
