The city of Missouri is seeking a qualified vendor to deliver a fully managed cloud-based backup and disaster recovery solution for its vSphere virtual environments. The required solution must replicate and back up all on-premises vSphere virtual machines and virtual networks to secure cloud object storage, ensuring reliable offsite backups and maintaining a cloud-based disaster recovery site.
In the event of a disaster, the cloud-based backup snapshots should facilitate recovery of all virtual workloads to a vendor-managed, cloud-based software-defined data center (SDDC), with the capacity to restore workloads to rebuilt data centers as necessary. The vendor will be responsible for providing comprehensive management of the solution, including recovery services during major disruptions or disasters affecting citywide operational networks and resources.
Interested vendors must submit all questions regarding the proposal no later than January 30, 2026.
