Hawaii agencies are seeking a vendor to deliver a cloud-based background investigation software solution, along with comprehensive training and support services. The project requires the development of a secure, centralized database designed to store applicant Personal History Questionnaires (PHQs) and related records. The database must adhere to the FBI CJIS Security Policy, ensuring robust access controls, encryption, and secure data-sharing functionalities.
Key system features include automatic tracking and flagging of modifications made by applicants to their PHQs, automated screening of applicants based on designated criteria (such as criminal history or employment eligibility), and real-time tracking of applicants across multiple participating agencies. The software must also generate comprehensive background investigation reports, including social media activity checks, with the ability for investigators to customize and export reports in various formats (e.g., PDF, Excel).
Additionally, the solution should offer advanced search, filtering, and reporting capabilities for efficient management and processing of applicant information. Compatibility with major web browsers and support for single sign-on (SSO) integration where applicable is required.
