The state of Michigan seeks a vendor to develop a comprehensive Climate Vulnerability Assessment and provide a corresponding geospatial mapping or data visualization tool. This initiative aims to support long-term investments that enhance the resilience of communities, infrastructure, and ecosystems, with a focus on protecting vulnerable populations.
The selected vendor will be responsible for designing and finalizing a workplan and scope for the Climate Vulnerability Assessment, gathering baseline data and relevant information, and conducting analyses of potential impacts. The analysis will incorporate climate projections, hazards, exposures, sensitivities, and adaptive capacity to provide actionable recommendations.
The resulting tool will help guide statewide decision-making on climate adaptation and resilience over the one-year contract period.
