DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will be responsible for developing a comprehensive Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience (CCAR) Strategy. This strategy will offer guidance and direction to identify, prioritize, implement, and monitor adaptation and resilience actions responding to the ongoing challenges presented by climate change.

The vendor is expected to establish a holistic divisional risk framework, which includes the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational, environmental, and financial risks arising from climate impacts. Further, the successful provider must integrate climate change resilience and adaptation considerations into all aspects of infrastructure policy, planning, operations, programs, and related initiatives or activities.

Additionally, the contract will require the enhancement of resiliency approaches and organizational capabilities through the development of measures designed to mitigate impacts and strengthen responses to future shocks and stresses caused by climate variability.
