Client Internet and Telephone Services

Initial term of three years beginning on the date of execution of the final contract.

Two one-year renewal options available at the sole discretion of the City.

A government authority in Virginia is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive internet and telephone services. The selected provider will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting connections to the Internet and telephone networks with sufficient bandwidth to meet both current and future customer needs, including critical networking infrastructure determined annually.

The contract includes the installation, maintenance, and support of computer-switching infrastructure such as wired and wireless access points throughout the building. The vendor will monitor and manage the operation of this infrastructure, as well as install, manage, and support systems that control billing and user access. A secure credit card billing system is required, and all associated service fees will be collected by the contractor. The engagement is expected to span three years.
