DESCRIPTION

This RFP seeks a qualified vendor to provide application development services for a claims adjustments platform supporting child care program licensing in Alberta. The vendor will deliver a secure digital solution enabling family day homes, group family childcare providers, and facility-based agencies to submit adjustment requests, including those related to child attendance, educator and staff data, funding eligibility, and payment discrepancies.

Scope of work involves the full lifecycle: analyzing, designing, developing, coding, configuring, testing, and implementing an AI-enabled service delivery platform. The vendor must create and enhance secure digital workflows for claim submission, review, adjudication, and processing, ensuring compliance with relevant business rules and policies. Interfaces must be accessibility-compliant and usability-tested for both external and internal (government) users.

The deployed solution will be hosted in province-approved cloud environments and will include production support, performance monitoring, and defect resolution. The application should automatically flag or prevent claims that do not meet policy or funding requirements, promoting consistent rule application by government and authorized users.
