DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive claims adjustment services. The selected contractor will be responsible for handling all materials and services necessary for the investigation, adjustment, acceptance, or denial of claims, in compliance with applicable laws.

The scope includes adjusting public entity claims related to no-fault utility incidents such as property damage from water main breaks, sewer backups, vehicle accidents, and bodily injury claims. The contractor must accept claim assignments via telephone, email, and mail during standard business hours, excluding city holidays. Additionally, the contractor is expected to obtain recorded or written statements from claimants and witnesses, and collect records from claimants, police, attorneys, and insurance carriers as needed to determine negligence and ensure claims are resolved in a timely, efficient, and fair manner.

Upon assignment of a claim, the contractor must promptly contact the claimant or their attorney to proceed with the adjustment process.
