DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive civil engineering consulting services. The selected firm will be responsible for delivering general civil engineering consulting, creating cost estimates, and preparing complete design plans and specifications for facility design, renovation, and remodel projects. Work assignments will be issued as needed, with specific requirements detailed in future requests for proposals.
The consultant must accept professional responsibility for each project and promptly notify the City in writing if any faults, defects, or deficiencies are identified. Throughout each project, the firm is expected to provide ongoing cost evaluations to minimize unnecessary expenses, assign a dedicated project manager to coordinate project progress according to the City's direction, and ensure full compliance with relevant laws and regulations. While geotechnical investigations are to be handled separately, the consultant will also provide construction cost estimation services for various civil engineering improvements at the Airports.
