DESCRIPTION

This RFP seeks a vendor to deliver a comprehensive, cloud-based civil case management system designed to facilitate efficient handling of legal matters throughout their lifecycle. The system must feature an intuitive, configurable interface optimized for both desktop and mobile devices, robust calendaring, rules-based docketing, advanced module-wide search, and seamless integration with tools such as Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, and document management platforms.

Key capabilities required include secure administration, customizable user and role-based permissions, document automation, template-driven data entry, and easy report creation with ad hoc, self-service custom reports and flexible reporting fields. Advanced features such as invoice management, time entry, billing functionalities, and integrations with platforms like Westlaw, SAP, and TrialNet are essential. Furthermore, the solution should offer high-grade encryption, role-based access controls, and optional AI enhancements for automation and analytics—ensuring all AI features are opt-in and separate from core application logic.

The system must be browser-agnostic and responsive across browsers like Edge, Chrome, and Safari and allow for user-friendly natural language search, automatic calendaring, and customizable dashboards. Administrators should have capabilities for user provisioning, access management, security controls, and document lifecycle management. The contract awarded will last four years.
