The City of Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive publication services for its city charter, code, and zoning ordinances. The selected vendor will be responsible for creating and maintaining a public-facing website that publishes the city's code with free access to the public. This website will need to adhere to specific city requirements, including being frameless, link-shareable, and capable of saving documents in Rich Text Format (RTF), Adobe Acrobat PDF, and, at the city's request, MS Word formats.
In addition to online publication, the vendor will provide editing and updating services for the city's code and zoning ordinances, ensuring information is accurate and current in both online and printed formats. The vendor's website must include features such as the ability to link to external sites, offer searchable content, provide cross-references, and allow pop-up previews of defined terms. Updates from the city will be communicated to the contractor for timely incorporation. Zoning ordinance modifications adopted after 2019 must be carefully reviewed, with updated footnotes provided for both web and print versions. The initial contract period is for five years.
