DESCRIPTION

The government authority in California is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive Cisco and networks professional services. The scope of work encompasses strategic alignment of business and IT objectives, assessment of current and future states, enhancement of people, processes, and platform readiness, as well as solution design, integration planning, and operational procedures.

Tasks include deployment, integration, configuration, testing, and validation of network solutions, along with ongoing optimization to analyze and improve existing environments and transfer best-practice knowledge. The vendor will also address secure remote access using GlobalProtect VPN, site-to-site VPN, and cloud-delivered security integrations; advanced wireless solutions; network visibility and logging; physical security and IP surveillance; and content networking solutions. The network infrastructure covers a district-wide area network (WAN) of nine sites connected via various methods, next-generation firewalls, Cisco core and IDF switches, Meraki wireless, and supporting computers and servers powered by Microsoft technologies and Azure integration, among others.

The project requires expertise in Active Directory, network topology, firewalls, identity services, datacenter operations, backup, storage, and hybrid cloud environments. The contract period is three years, and interested vendors must submit questions by May 11, 2026. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 4, 2026.
