Louisiana is seeking information from qualified vendors for the modernization of its child welfare information system. The objective is to implement a solution that either replaces or integrates and subsumes child-welfare-related functions currently handled by adjacent systems, ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive platform for managing child welfare operations.
Key goals include enhancing service delivery, establishing clear lines of accountability, and introducing robust capabilities for outcome measurement and reporting. The modernized system should also improve financial management and control, support a contemporary technical infrastructure that enables efficient data exchange among internal and external stakeholders, and accommodate a diverse range of user roles such as judges, foster parents, facility staff, and extended foster care providers.
A critical requirement is the reduction or minimization of redundant data entry by reusing existing data wherever feasible. Interested parties should have experience in large-scale system modernization, data management, and the integration of complex information systems serving multiple user groups.
