DESCRIPTION
The selected vendor will provide a chemical inventory system to replace the current Sivco/Chematix software, which is at the end of its life. The scope of work includes all aspects necessary for system migration, notably the transfer of the existing database, and the implementation of a robust tracking method such as barcoding.
The system must support the generation of building- and lab-specific inventories and allow for expiration date tracking and notification functionality. Compatibility with end-user devices is a critical requirement; supported platforms must include, but are not limited to, Android and iOS mobile devices, Microsoft Windows, and Apple MacOS operating systems. For web browser integration, bidders should specify all compatible browsers and their minimum required versions.
This implementation aims to enhance end-user accessibility while streamlining inventory management and safety compliance processes.
