Colorado is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive chemical compound database that is molecule-searchable and supports research across a wide range of scientific disciplines. The database must cover organic and inorganic substances, DNA and protein sequences, as well as both experimental properties and those predicted by advanced technology.
Key requirements include access to bioactivity and target information such as proteins, enzymes, and glycoproteins. The database should include regulatory information, substances found in patents, journal articles, and reputable web sources worldwide. Furthermore, it must provide detailed reaction data—from single- to multi-step reactions—sourced from journals and patents, with thorough information on reaction conditions, catalysts, solvents, and yields dating from 1840 to the present.
Additional features include access to clinical trial information, full-text patent chemistry data, and content spanning organic and inorganic chemistry, biochemistry, applied and physical chemistry, biology, medicine, engineering, material science, and agricultural science. Molecule-based search functionality is required to enable efficient exploration and discovery within the database.
