The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, is providing notice of its intent to award a sole source contract for a ChartCheck Software License and 3-year subscription at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. This contract is intended to be established with RADFORMATION, INC., who is identified as the only source capable of meeting the highly specialized requirements associated with ChartCheck software.
The planned firm-fixed price contract covers the provision and ongoing support for the ChartCheck software, which is considered essential to the medical center's operations. Market research has determined that no other supplies or services would satisfy the agency's needs, and that procuring from another source would result in substantial duplication of cost not expected to be recovered through competition.
This notice is issued in accordance with federal acquisition regulations governing sole source procurements and is intended to provide information regarding the upcoming contract action. No solicitation for competitive offers is available at this time.
