DESCRIPTION
The requesting entity seeks a vendor to provide changeable message sign supplies, specifically one Ver–mac model PCMS 320 portable, trailer–mounted dynamic message sign (PCMS). The scope includes supplying a new PCMS unit equipped with wireless communications equipment, hardware, software, delivery, integration, training, technical assistance, and warranty information necessary for its operation and maintenance.
The sign must be a full matrix LED capable of displaying variable-height text with varying fonts and graphic messages. Specifications call for large sign boards with a width of approximately 136 inches, capable of displaying three lines of 18-inch-high letters with eight characters per line, and medium sign boards of about 96 inches wide, capable of three lines of 12-inch-high letters with eight characters per line. The sign must support both wireless and wired communications.
Operation is to be supported by a vendor-supplied solar DC power plant, with standby power provided by the agency. All questions regarding the RFP should be submitted by April 30, 2026.
