The Mobile District Corps of Engineers is conducting market research to identify qualified small business firms, including HUB Zone, 8(a), Service–Disabled Veteran-owned, and women-owned small businesses, interested in providing a full range of horizontal construction, renovation, repair, and occasional incidental design services. This Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) pool will support requirements at twelve designated locations across Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Mississippi. The contract encompasses projects such as new construction, incidental design, repair, and rehabilitation of facilities including project management offices, powerhouses, maintenance facilities, operations areas, boathouses, bathhouses, shops, fencing, recreational amenities, fire and security systems, courtesy docks, bridges, HVAC, roofing, siding, and bank stabilization.
The MATOC will accommodate task orders generally ranging from $1,000 to $1,000,000, with a total contract capacity of $1.9 million. The intent is to enable quick and cost-effective responses to general construction and design/build tasks needed by the Mobile District. Responses from interested firms will aid in acquisition planning and demonstrate capability to perform across the range of listed services. Submissions are to be made electronically and will remain source sensitive.
