DESCRIPTION
The agency is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide centralized digital content services in support of its municipal digital platforms. The selected contractor will collaborate closely with the Communications team and interdepartmental subject matter experts to ensure all digital content is accurate, consistent, and adheres to municipal standards.
Key responsibilities include managing the full lifecycle of digital content, from analysis and creation to publishing and ongoing optimization. The contractor will assume responsibility for regular content updates, routine digital quality assurance checks—such as verifying links, images, pricing, and copy—and the development of long-term strategic plans for digital platforms. Additionally, the contractor will apply digital best practices, including the incorporation of accessibility standards and SEO, and elevate the engagement level of municipal platforms by enhancing content with user-friendly layouts, graphics, visuals, photos, or videos as appropriate.
A focus will be placed on improving user experience and facilitating resident self-serve access to online services through intuitive content and page designs. The contractor will also be responsible for providing analytics and periodic reporting to inform ongoing content strategy and improvements across municipal digital spaces.
