DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Blue Springs, Missouri is seeking a vendor to provide trail paving services for Central Park. The project includes the installation of a curb cut and ADA-compliant ramp at the beginning of the trail from the parking lot, with cut and fill work to ensure ADA trail compliance. All trail edges must be graded to a maximum 3:1 slope for ease of maintenance, and all loose soils are to be compacted to 95% in 4-inch lifts.
Additional work involves the removal of approximately 250 cubic yards of subgrade along the designated trail path to a depth of 8 inches. Compaction of the subgrade must also achieve 95% compaction. The project requires installing approximately 250 tons of AB-3 base rock at a compacted depth of 4 inches, with a trail width of 10 feet throughout the entire length.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 22, 2026, and all vendor questions must be submitted by April 27, 2026.
