Texas is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive cell tower marketing, management, and development services. The selected firm will be responsible for the construction, installation, operation, and maintenance of wireless telecommunications infrastructure within the community. Key responsibilities include conducting site surveys and RF engineering analysis, designing and installing telecommunications facilities, and employing stealth tower designs to minimize visual and environmental impact.
The vendor will address community cellular coverage and capacity needs while generating revenue for the township through land lease agreements and revenue sharing from cellular carrier subleases. Duties also include managing all carrier sublease agreements, providing accurate and timely revenue reports, and negotiating agreements with carriers. Community engagement is critical, with requirements to conduct public hearings and address feedback related to visual impact, safety, and environmental concerns. The vendor will conduct environmental impact assessments and implement measures to minimize disturbance.
The contract period for these services will be ten years. All questions regarding the opportunity must be submitted by January 15, 2026.
