Ontario is seeking a SaaS-based solution to manage cathodic protection corrosion data over a five-year contract term. The selected software will facilitate the gathering, recording, storage, and analysis of data from annual cathodic protection surveys. The system must be capable of automatically capturing reader IDs and location-tagged corrosion data directly from a multimeter, minimizing human error in data collection.
Key requirements include the ability to link field notes and photographs with specific mapped locations, export results to Excel, and integrate seamlessly with GIS platforms for auditing and tracking. The database should support both storage of new data and the import of legacy cathodic protection records, with editing privileges restricted to designated users and audit trails tracking all modifications.
The software will also need to provide real-time visual updates, displaying cathodic protection read locations mapped onto the utilities distribution system and indicating the status of each read location. It should offer the capability to overlay multiple survey datasets in a geospatial view, enabling the identification of trends in historical corrosion data.
