DESCRIPTION
The selected vendor will provide comprehensive, employment-focused career and workforce services for young adults aged 16 to 24 in Louisville, Kentucky. The program prioritizes disconnected youth, young adults experiencing homelessness or housing instability, and justice-involved individuals, with a central objective of fostering resiliency among the young people served.
Service delivery is centered on a youth development approach, intentionally engaging young adults with their communities, educational institutions, organizations, peer groups, and families. This approach emphasizes recognizing and building upon youths’ strengths, while promoting positive outcomes through meaningful opportunities, the establishment of supportive relationships, and leadership development.
