Career Services and Applied Learning Management System

A higher education institution is seeking a Software as a Service (SaaS) provider for a comprehensive Career Services and Applied Learning Management System. The required platform will be used to manage Career Services operations and support the management and detailed tracking of 16 types of applied learning activities. Key requirements include robust technical and design support, ample storage, training for staff, regular system upgrades, role-based security features, and comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery measures.

The system must provide automated, tailored student access to professional development resources, leveraging both administrator customization and machine learning capabilities. The platform should serve as an integrated, web-based solution for all stakeholders, with a consistent, high-quality user experience across mobile devices, tablets, and desktop computers. Employers must be able to directly post job opportunities and participate in on-campus recruitment using a suite of recruitment tools.

Instructors need the ability to sync course data from platforms such as Canvas or Blackboard to facilitate tracking of service-learning requirements. Students should be able to view and download records of their volunteer experiences. The platform should also support multimodal resources, including audio, video, graphics, and interactive content, and allow administrative access via mobile-optimized dashboards. A robust data tracking system for posted positions and applicants is essential. The initial contract for these services will span a three-year period.
