The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7, is seeking bids for a Firm–Fixed–Price contract for the Design–Bid–Build Cardiac Catheterization Lab 1 Site Preparation Project at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina. The contractor will be responsible for all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to execute project 534–CSI–714, which includes demolition and renovation activities to construct a Containment–Segregated Compounding Area compliant with USP standards.
All work must be scheduled and coordinated closely with the facility to minimize disruptions to the ongoing operations of the Veterans Affairs Health Care System. Approval from the Contracting Officer's Representative is required prior to any work, and construction impacts must be mitigated to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the medical center.
This solicitation is an Invitation for Bid and is advertised as a total Service–Disabled Veteran–Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set–aside. Only offers from SDVOSB firms will be considered. The project duration is approximately 195 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
