An organization in Maryland is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive, web-based capital assets and facilities management system. The proposed solution must include an Electronic Drawings Management System along with graphical tools to store, share, and manage engineering drawings, assign and report space usage among groups, and track equipment and other physical assets.
The contractor will be responsible for delivering all necessary supervision, staffing, coordination, software, licensing, website access, training, backup, and related services. The system should allow for easy editing and reconfiguration of space data without requiring database expertise, and feature modules for visualizing, analyzing, searching, and aggregating building information. Additionally, the solution must maintain a secure, online repository of electronic drawings, organized efficiently by site, building, floor, and discipline.
Security and accessibility are essential requirements; the server and web portal must comply with Federal and agency-mandated security protocols, including encryption and standards such as FedRAMP. VA users must be able to securely access the application via the internet. The contractor is expected to maintain continuous, 24/7 system availability and provide unlimited technical support.
