A five-year contract is available for comprehensive Canada-focused marketing services based in California. The selected vendor will be responsible for executing a multifaceted program including communications and public relations, travel trade initiatives, consumer marketing, cooperative and partnership programs, as well as management of consumer content distribution across owned channels.
Key responsibilities encompass the development of effective public relations strategies tailored to specific market niches, identifying strategic story angles, supporting destination coverage, and utilizing both traditional and digital media channels. The vendor will also create a global digital influencer program to amplify the 'Ultimate Playground' brand message, engage a network of digital influencers for consistent social media activity, and organize familiarization trips and special events for both media representatives and influencers.
In addition, the vendor will collaborate with broadcast productions to leverage major media channels, develop relationships with top-producing tour operators, and implement strategies to align travel trade distribution channels. This includes fostering partnerships with wholesalers, online travel agencies, airlines, and retail travel agencies. Maintaining and enhancing travel trade website content, hosting educational seminars, and organizing familiarization trips for product managers and travel agents are also part of the scope.
