SUMMARY

Seeking small business vendors for CAM software, maintenance, and training solutions that integrate with SOLIDWORKS for Air Force CNC machine operations.

DESCRIPTION

The U.S. Air Force Reserve Command is conducting market research to identify small business vendors capable of providing a comprehensive Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software solution, including software licenses, maintenance, and training. The solution must support fabrication and machining operations utilizing Phillips Haas CNC machines and seamlessly integrate with the existing SOLIDWORKS CAD environment.

Vendors are required to supply new software licenses for Solidworks or CAMWorks (or equivalent products), offer ongoing annual maintenance and technical support, and provide associated training for Government personnel. The CAM solution should enable the generation, verification, and output of machine toolpaths for various CNC milling applications. This solicitation is a preliminary request for information and does not obligate the Government to issue a Request for Quotation or a contract.

This notice specifically seeks responses from qualified small businesses that can deliver brand name or equal products and meet the integration and support requirements outlined for the Air Force’s machining operations.
