The government authority in Quebec is seeking a provider to host a camp for a Bachelor of Social Work land-based program. The selected host will facilitate a diverse range of cultural, physical, and skill-building activities, ensuring hands-on participation and student engagement over an evening and three full days. Core activities should include carving with traditional tools, sewing or crafting projects such as moccasins and beadwork, hunting and trapping skills, traditional cooking, snowshoeing with progressive distances, shelter building, fire-making using traditional methods, and cultural evening activities like storytelling and drum making.

The host is responsible for providing all materials, including supplies such as wood, tools, hides, thread, snares, and food, to ensure that students can fully participate. Activities should foster skill progression and offer students choices regarding their focus areas. The host is also expected to follow food safety best practices, including proper refrigeration and handling, and provide opportunities for learning through play with traditional group games. The camp experience should support cultural teachings and create meaningful, immersive land-based learning for social work students.
