Ontario is seeking experienced consultants to provide business continuity implementation support services over a two-year contract. The selected consultants will play a key role in strengthening the province's ability to anticipate, respond to, and recover from various risks and disruptions. The scope includes providing strategic leadership in risk-specific planning and preparedness initiatives, with a focus on readiness for workforce disruptions, cyber threats, and other emerging risks that could impact operations.
Responsibilities will include conducting business impact analysis interviews with stakeholders, utilizing standardized templates and systems that meet program requirements. Consultants will offer both strategic and operational advice on planning and preparedness for corporate risks, develop recovery procedures based on feedback, and gather supporting documentation such as procedures and contact information for comprehensive planning.
Additional tasks involve inputting and managing relevant data within designated systems, designing and facilitating scenario-based exercises to test organizational response capabilities, and planning all related meetings and working sessions efficiently. The consultants will serve as strategic partners to the business continuity and resilience team, providing expert guidance to ensure effective crisis management and the timely completion of deliverables.
