A qualified consultant is sought to provide business attraction services for the state of Rhode Island. The scope of work involves offering direct and ongoing support for domestic business attraction, with a core focus on lead generation and strategic outreach to targeted companies.
The consultant will be expected to assist both the Corporation and the Partnership by generating leads and facilitating individualized outreach and engagement with potential business prospects. Responsibilities also include maintaining and updating an active prospect list daily by scanning, mining, and analyzing various data sources, such as investment applications, artificial intelligence, and data analytics tools.
Additionally, the consultant will conduct a market positioning analysis, expanding upon foundational work previously completed. This analysis aims to ensure the state's lead generation efforts are both effectively targeted and impactful, thereby enhancing Rhode Island’s overall competitiveness and visibility to prospective businesses.
