A government authority in White Plains, New York seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive services for bus transit shelters, including operation, maintenance, and advertising. The selected company will be responsible for replacing any damaged or deteriorated shelters, promptly repairing or removing broken shelter parts within forty-eight hours, and maintaining the areas around the shelters, including litter removal and vegetation management to ensure accessibility and the optimal performance of solar panels.
Services also include providing electrical service and adequate illumination for all bus shelters during the same hours that public street lighting is provided, with responsibility for all related electrical cables, conduits, lighting devices, and associated utility costs. The vendor is encouraged to install and maintain solar-powered lighting where possible. The scope also covers coordination and communication protocols to ensure effective snow and ice removal operations ahead of anticipated weather events. The contract period is for one year, and all questions must be submitted by March 18, 2026.
