Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
An agency in Florida is seeking a vendor to provide, install, maintain, and support a comprehensive school bus stop arm infraction detection system for its fleet of school buses. The selected system must include a web-based central management platform with secure, role-based access control, real-time fleet status dashboards, system health monitoring, violation statistics, and an automated receipt and processing of violation data. Additional features required are violation review workflow tools and automated report generation.
The system should also provide a mobile application or web interface for bus drivers to verify operational status, report malfunctions, review recorded violations, and receive alerts and notifications. Key system requirements include cloud-based hosting, a minimum 99.5% system uptime guarantee (excluding scheduled maintenance), secure data transmission with encryption (at least TLS 1.2 or current industry standards), and compliance with data privacy and security regulations. The solution should offer regular software updates, security patches during the contract term at no additional cost, scalable architecture for fleet expansion, and API integration with existing agency systems. The initial contract will be for a period of two years.
