DESCRIPTION


This RFP seeks a vendor to provide integrated solutions for bus routing, fleet management, GPS tracking, and school planning to support a county's bus fleet operations. The desired solution must maintain comprehensive historical information on all drivers and attendants, facilitate payment processing for bus contractors, and include a timekeeping feature that integrates with Oracle and other existing agency systems.

The system should support real-time school bus routing and fleet management, including compatibility with the ArcGIS platform and the ability to transfer data from current systems. Multiple users should be able to view and edit bus routes simultaneously, with user-based control over map edits and security, regardless of VPN usage. GPS integration is essential, enabling the generation of reports comparing planned and actual routes.

For school planning, the solution must create both standard and ad hoc reports and maps as needed. The financial management component should support payroll functions and interface directly with Oracle for payroll and HR needs. Additionally, a parent-facing mobile application is required to enhance communication. The contract will be for two years.
