The selected vendor will provide a comprehensive bus prediction analytics system capable of delivering reliable, accurate, and real-time shuttle arrival predictions for passengers. The solution requires GPS-based vehicle tracking with high positional accuracy (within 5–10 meters) and must generate real-time predictions utilizing both traffic and route data. The system should also support robust headway analytics and provide real-time or near-real-time reporting via cloud-based infrastructure with minimal latency.

Key requirements include seamless integration with existing dispatch and operations systems, implementation of digital displays at shelters and hubs (compatible with LED/LCD monitors), and support for mobile access through web or native apps (with QR code entry). Automated stop announcements triggered by GPS/geofencing, pre-recorded clear audio, and integration with route and stop databases are also essential functions.

The system must deliver accurate passenger counts for operational efficiency and planning, counting boardings per bus and stop with on/off directional distinction. Integration with analytics dashboards for streamlined reporting and operational insight is required.
