A government authority in Arizona is inviting proposals from qualified vendors to provide building safety plan review and inspection services for both residential and commercial projects. The scope includes the review of building plans to ensure compliance with current building codes and applicable amendments, as well as the provision of in-house plan reviewers on an as-needed basis.
Vendors are also expected to offer third-party inspection services, which may be conducted either on-site or remotely, in accordance with established building and development regulations. For residential projects, consultants should demonstrate expertise in all aspects of construction processes, including plan reading, thorough inspections, and accurate documentation. Proficiency in written and oral communication, as well as experience with common computer applications such as Excel, Word, and permitting software, is required.
For commercial and industrial projects, the selected vendor must have commercial inspectors experienced in all facets of plan review and inspections, with comprehensive knowledge of construction practices and documentation standards. The contract for these services will be awarded for a four-year period.
